WHY IS THIS BLOG NECESSARY?:
Small Businesses are the backbone of the economy of
the United States of America. They keep our country running. This
year, with all our social networking, we have become aware of the plight of Small Businesses. So many business
are on the verge of going under. If they haven’t already. I
have seen too many go under recently. After 9/11 the country realized how important it was to keep our
Small Businesses going. I remember our customers bringing in small chairs for re-upholstery and other projects
and saying "I'm here to keep this country going” Almost as if it were their patriotic duty,
the one way that they could help; and, they did indeed help.
WHO WINS?:
We all do!
WHO LOOSES?:
Other countries, maybe.
Right now, there is, a most avid buying spree of our land and national treasures by foreign countries.
We need to stick together. I remember, not too long after 9/11, reading that the terrorists
said that our greed and selfishness would bring us down. Well, the GREED OF OUR BANKS is certainly bringing
down Small Businesses. And, our SELFISHNESS will certainly do the same, if we don't work together.
WHAT SHOULD I REMEMBER?:
1. Some Franchises are independently owned and operated. They are a Small Business. You can find out by just asking.
2. Have fun with this! And let Small Businesses know
of your patronage. Let Small Businesses know that you are on the "Small Business Express” "God
